Yamaha upright piano summer model ‘HANA-BI’, using the Kyoto traditional craft technique Maki-e and a new craft technique Saikikou using Kyoto opal, a new material born in Kyoto. This is entirely handmade.
It is based on the reconditioned Yamaha UX-5 and is made by the lacquer artist Kenji Omachi.
It is a very beautiful piano that allows you to enjoy various colour changes due to the play-of-colour effect of Kyoto Opal.
It creates a Japanese-style space of Kyoto in your room.
