Yamaha grand piano HARU-no-MABOROSHI model, using the Kyoto traditional craft technique ‘Maki-e’ and a new craft technique ‘Saikikou’ using Kyoto opal, a new material born in Kyoto.
The motif captures cherry blossom petals gently passing through the Yoshino window of a temple in Kyoto.
This model is entirely handmade using Kyoto’s traditional Maki-e craftsmanship.
It is based on the reconditioned Yamaha C3L and is made by the lacquer artist in Kyoto.
